Traveling the world, for tourism or to visit relatives, is a dream of most Ecuadorians. However, in addition to the passport, most countries require a visa to enter their territory.
The process to apply for a visa to certain countries can be not only expensive, but also long and tedious, plus there is no guarantee to obtain it. For this reason, many citizens choose to visit countries that do not require a visa for travelers from Ecuador.
The entry of Ecuadorians to the European Union (EU) without a visa would be approved next January in the European Parliament and would be a reality in the second half of 2023
