How to prepare Queen Elizabeth II’s favorite biscuit cake

Dear readers, I confess to being an admirer of Queen Elizabeth II, for her vocation of service to her people, and I have also been moved by the gratitude of the English towards her: the amount of flowers and the respect for her funeral procession have been admirable and multitudinous . God save the queen, one of my favorite characters in the history of the world. Enjoy this recipe and thank your cook today.

Preparation:

  1. In a medium saucepan, put the butter with the chocolate over medium heat to melt them, stirring constantly.
  2. When they are well united, add the sugar, salt, honey and heavy cream. Remove from the heat and let cool.
  3. Break the cookies into roughly medium pieces by hand and place in a bowl. She adds the chocolate cream moving with a spatula until everything is well combined.
  4. In a mold that opens, accommodate plastic wrap to line the bottom and walls of the mold. Pour in the chocolate chip cookie mixture and cover with the remaining plastic. Refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours, or you can do it from the day before. The important thing is that the cake is compacted.
  5. Prepare the chocolate bath. Put the heavy cream in a bowl and heat it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Pour the small chopped chocolate into this hot cream and stir well so that the chocolate melts. Add the honey and let it cool for a while. Meanwhile, remove the biscuit cake from the refrigerator and unmold it on a wire rack, open the pan and remove the plastic wrap. Bathe it with the chocolate cream in such a way that it covers it all over. Let it cool for about 10 minutes in the refrigerator.
  6. Garnish with the chopped almonds and serve.

Note 1: You can also put chopped almonds inside the dough or nuts.

Note 2: Yields for approximately 10 people.
