In Yekaterinburg the day before, portraits of Russian performers appeared in front of the Ogonyok bar, calling for peace against the backdrop of a military special operation in Ukraine. Among them: Valery Meladze, Vera Brezhneva, Oxxxymiron, Ivan Dorn, Svetlana Loboda, Maxim Galkin and others.

The action was initiated by the Ogonyok bar. “Music is in the head, it cannot be banned. Walking down the street, you will hum a song by Loboda or Grebenshchikov. Politics was not involved. It’s just a story about music,” Evgeny Keksin, the founder of the bar, commented on the action to Kommersant-Ural.

As the chairman of the HOA, on the fence of which posters were placed, told Rise, the police arrived at the scene the night before.

“In the afternoon, we received a call from the administration of the Oktyabrsky district and clarified who the author of this action was and whether it was approved? Later in the evening, police officers came to deal with the banner, after which the bar employees decided to dismantle the banner, ”said Nikita Redkin, chairman of the HOA.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special military operation in Ukraine. The goals were called “denazification and demilitarization”.
