The United States does not have much confidence in the Christmas truce announced by Russia in the NWO zone. This, according to TASS, was stated by the head of the press service of the State Department, Ned Price.

According to him, the Russian side gave no reason to believe everything they offer. Price noted that Washington fears that Moscow could use “any pause” in the fighting to regroup and rest its troops.

The State Department spokesman added that the United States believes “this is a cynical ploy” that aims to allow Russia to use some time to rest and replenish forces, and then attack again with “potentially even more brutality,” TASS reports.

Price added that the announcement of the US allocation of a new package of military assistance to Ukraine will follow in the very near future.

On the eve, we recall, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu to temporarily (12:00 on January 6 to 24:00 on January 7) introduce a ceasefire. It will operate along the entire line of military contact between the parties in Ukraine.

The Kremlin release states that the instruction was given taking into account the appeal of Patriarch Kirill, who called for a Christmas truce in Ukraine from January 6 to 7.

In Kyiv, however, Putin’s corresponding order was called “hypocrisy.”
