The Criminal Judicial Unit based in the canton of La Libertad, province of Santa Elena, convened for January 12 the direct procedure hearing for the triple collision registered on the road to the coast weeks ago and which caused several injuries and one death.

In this case, Geovanny R. is involved, who was ordered by a judge to be prohibited from leaving the country and to appear once a week before a prosecutor.

Geovanny R. records processes in the judicial system. He, along with his father and his brothers, were involved in an attack on security guards in a residential area in the north of Guayaquil.

The case went viral due to videos that circulated on social networks.

The hearing has been called for January 12, at 2:30 p.m., in courtroom no. 4 of this Criminal Judicial Unit.
