And it is that in said jurisdiction, located ten kilometers from the ecological area of conservation of guayacanes, in Mangahurco, it has been verified that the process of swelling of the flower bud of the guayacan trees is well advanced.

This was stated in a statement by the Bosque Seco Inter-Institutional Technical Board, the only body legally formed and empowered to officially announce the start of the natural and tourist event, which in years prior to the pandemic had summoned many tourists.
“Thanks to the Almighty, who is blessing us with the first rains, today (Wednesday) has already dawned by opening the button. So, it is considered that the flowering of guayacanes will be in all its splendor in the Bolaspamba parish over the weekend. In addition, they will be able to see the tourist viewpoints, ventures with honey bee and more, “said William Córdova, president of the parish council.
In the Chaquino neighborhood, tourists will be able to find the largest beekeeping enterprise in the Zapotillo canton.
Then, continuing along the road that leads to the parish capital of Bolaspamba, there is an offer of Creole gastronomy, enterprises, handicrafts, an exhibition of round stones and other attractions, such as hiking, biking and camping in unique landscapes of the dry forest.
