Morocho was kidnapped after his truck was intercepted, which was stolen on that date. Since Tuesday, a rescue effort was activated by the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of Ecuador (Unase).
The injured party pointed out that they tortured him while he was kidnapped, asking him for information on where the aspiring councilor allegedly had money.
Kidnapped man, who works as a mediator and owner of a liquor store, was found by the Police in a barber’s chair in a house in the south of Guayaquil
“To tell you that thank God I am alive, I thought my life would end. They tortured me, I was tied up, they put electricity in my legs and hands… I feel happy that the Police worked and found me,” Morocho declared. (YO)
