Investigators opened a criminal case on the fact of a fire in a nightclub in Vladivostok. It is reported by “RIA Novosti” with reference to the SUSK of the Russian Federation in the Primorsky Territory.
“The investigating authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Primorsky Territory initiated a criminal case on the fact of a fire in the Unik nightclub on Svetlanskaya Street in Vladivostok on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet security requirements),” the statement says.
According to the investigation, the fire started on the night of December 25, all visitors were sent outside. It is noted that the fire was localized by the staff of the club. At the same time, all people were evacuated through the only exit, as a result of which a queue formed in the already smoky room.
After the incident, the club closed for several days.
Earlier, the prosecutor’s office reported that it put under control the establishment of the circumstances of the fire. It was noted that the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were not involved in extinguishing, information about the fire was not received by the authorized bodies.
