Two foreigners were detained for investigations, as the National Police suspects that they would be related to the murder of Corporal Miguel Antonio Bermeo Castillo, 36, an event that occurred early Monday morning near the Drivers’ Park in the city of Pasaje, in the province of El Oro.
The first inquiries indicate that these people tried to steal the belongings of Bermeo, who would have put up resistance after the mishap with these antisocials.
After the struggle, the assailants fired about five times against Bermeo’s humanity, mainly in the chest area.
