They say that the emotion invaded them to the point that they needed some time to assimilate the news: they were chosen to be part of the pre-selection jury of the works that will go to the final rounds of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2022, in France, the maximum exponent of creativity for those who work in design, marketingadvertising, public relations and communication.
Marco Salvador, General Creative Director of MullenLowe Delta, and María Gracia Lotuffo, founder of Madkind, are the Ecuadorians who are part of the 290 experts that make up the jury of this renowned international festival, whose face-to-face appointment will be from June 20 to 24 at Cannes, France.
Both are international publicists, creative with more than 15 years of experience and with relevant awards such as lions or lions that they obtained in Cannes and in other spaces, from the agencies they represented, in addition to individual professional achievements. They have also been to Cannes in past editions as participants.
On this occasion, the evaluations that they will make for Cannes Lions 2022 will be on-line as the festival has established for that phase. Then, the selected works go to a final round with a jury top ten members per category.

Maria Gracia Lotuffo, 38 years oldmarried and mother of a child, was appointed as a pre-selection jury for the category outdoor (On the air or outside). That, she expresses with pride, makes her the first agency owner and creative director at the same time (chief creative officer) of the country to be part of this important evaluating group. With this, she enters the list of the first women from Ecuador to be an international jury of Cannes Lions.

At the age of 19, he went to live in the United States, where he graduated in Advertising and Graphic Design at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She began her professional career at Time Inc. as a graphic designer for InStyle, a renowned fashion magazine. She lived the boom of marketing Digital in New York. That helped him to face new challenges to the point of designing applications.
Upon his return to Ecuador, he worked at the Maruri agency, with which he was able to obtain international awards such as a lion silver (2nd place) at Cannes Lions that he considers special for the app he designed that was later purchased by a client.
Now with 15 years of experience in advertising and marketing digital is the founder of the Ecuadorian agency Madkind, which has international clients.
