“La Libertad must have a strategic look to the future, this considerable growth has been achieved in terms of agricultural exports, beyond the effects that the heat and the rainy in terms of crops. Meanwhile, the non-traditional country’s fishing exports totaled US$ 361 million (22% more than the same period of the previous year) in the first two months of 2023 and here the increased sale of frozen squid stood out (187%), due to a higher volume (153%) and price (13.6%). Likewise, exports of seaweed grew (101.9%), followed by canned fish (18.4%).

On the other hand, the value exported in the non-metallic mining (83%), metal-mechanic (11%), textile (7%), and fishing (3%), among others, also grew. Here the sales of anthracite (191%) and natural calcium phosphate (94%) stood out.
