Euskaraz irakurri: “Model 77” Alberto Rodriguezen film berriak irekiko du Donostiako Zinemaldia
Model 77the new feature film by Sevillian filmmaker Alberto Rodríguez, will open in the Official Section but out of competition the 70th edition of the San Sebastian International Film Festival. It is a thriller starring the actors Miguel Herrán and Javier Gutiérrez, and will be screened after the opening gala at the Kursaal Auditorium on September 16.
Inspired by real events, the authors of the film define it as “a story of friendship, solidarity and freedom”.
Alberto Rodríguez (Seville, 1971) has directed The Pilgrim Factor (2000); Costume (2002); 7 virgins (2005), which gave the Silver Shell for best actor to Juan Jose Ballesta; despues de (2009); Group 7 (2012); the minimal island (2014), which led Javier Gutiérrez to the Silver Shell for best actor and Álex Catalán to the jury prize for best photography; Y the man of the thousand faces (2016), which gave the Silver Shell for best actor to Eduard Fernández.
