“The idea of creating Hambrgr was born from a conversation between two neighbors from different projects. The idea of creating a hamburger restaurant was consolidated, given the opportunity in Guayaquil to create a hamburger with premium meat. I have been making hamburgers at his house for five years, and Carlos López is an expert in photography, video and marketing. Between the two of us, a duo was put together and we complemented each other to create the brand and offer a different product in which the flavor of the meat stands out,” explains Aguirre.
The venture began in Urdesa, as a hidden kitchen, on September 8, 2021. “We were well received, and word of mouth advertising helped us grow rapidly. And we open the doors so you can eat ‘hollow’ type. We are currently about to open the second location, where customers can live the experience of eating a Hambrgr in a comfortable place, where you can sit down to eat, located in Sports Garden”, López mentions.
With previous experiences of both in different gastronomic fields, the menu of their establishment presents five varieties: Juicy Sweet, with caramelized onion and bacon; Juicy Bacon, for lovers of cheese and bacon; Juicy Freshy, for diners with more traditional tastes who prefer fresh vegetables; Juicy Hot, with spicy; and Juicy Truffle, the most exotic. The latter has a touch of truffle. It started out as a limited edition, but stayed on the menu at the request of customers.
Its store is located in Jiguas and Bálsamos (Urdesa, north of Guayaquil). Currently, this location is for pick up Y delivery. But, according to its partners, there are those who prefer to eat on site or eat inside their vehicles. They plan, within a few months, to open a branch in Sports Garden, opposite the Albán Borja shopping center.
The opening hours are from Tuesday to Saturday, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and on Sundays, from 1:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (YO)
