Euskaraz irakurri: Emakumea da Opus Liricaren zortzigarren denboaldiaren protagonist
The woman stars in the eighth season of San Sebastian’s Opus Lirica, which will produce two operas, ‘Dido and Aeneas’ by H. Purcell, in December, and ‘pagliacci’ by R. Leoncavallo, in February of next year.
In addition, from August 9 to 12 they will hold in Zorroaga a international opera and zarzuela competition. The singers not selected for the final will receive a free singing workshop, and those classified for the final will sing and stage perform the aria chosen by the jury.
The jury for August 12, the end of the competition and public concert, will be made up “of relevant people from the world of opera such as artistic directors, agents or founders of projects aimed exclusively at lyrical singers.” Registration is now open.
Opus Lirica will perform ‘Dido & Eneas’ by Henry Purcell at the Victoria Eugenia Theater on December 3 (7:30 p.m.) and 4 (7:00 p.m.) 2022.
As for ‘Pagliacci’ by Leoncavallo, it can be enjoyed at the Kursaal Auditorium on February 17 and 18, 2023, at eight in the afternoon.
