The organizer of this year’s Book Fair in Warsaw is the History and Culture Foundation. Admission is free for all visitors. Those who could not come to the fair can take advantage of the opportunity to watch broadcasts of events on social media.
Warsaw Book Fair 2022. Paradise for literature lovers
The Warsaw Book Fair is a unique event that the greatest lovers of literature await each year. The program of the three-day fair is extremely rich. In 2022, the event will be attended by over 500 exhibitors from 13 countries: Poland, Norway, as well as Armenia, Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Spain, Germany, Romania, Switzerland, Hungary and Great Britain. So this is a great opportunity to complete the missing books in home libraries and get new items and pre-premiere titles.
The fair is also a great opportunity for social meetings and participation in various events – incl. lectures. During the Fair, we will also get to know the winners of the following awards: the 62nd PTWK Competition for the Most Beautiful Books of the Year 2021,13. Awards Ryszard Kapuściński, Magellan’s Awards in the competition for “Best travel publications”, Competition for the Grand Prix of the Criminal Festival, “New Fantasy” Awards, Literary Butterfly Award and Biedronka Award for a book for children – Piórko 2022.
Over 800 artists will visit the fair. Which writers can you meet during the book festival?
During the Warsaw Book Fair, over 800 artists will meet the audience. As many as three literary festivals will be held simultaneously. Fans of crime literature will meet at the Warsaw Criminal Festival. The fair will host, among others: Remigiusz Mróz, Vincent V. Severski, Maciej Siembieda, Anna Kańtoch, Gaja Grzegorzewska, Julia Łapińska.

The Comics Festival Warsaw is a separate sector of stalls with publications and over 50 meetings and workshops with authors. The stars of this year’s Festival will be, among others: Lene Ask, Typex, Paco Roca, Javier de Isusi, Tony Sandoval.
Fantasy lovers will meet, among others with Marta Kisiel, Katarzyna Miszczuk, Jakub Ćwiek, Jagna Rolska and Jacek Galiński.
