Antonio Resines reveals that he suffers from “persistent COVID”: “I have had a little complicated time”

Antonio Resines has revealed that after passing through the ICU due to a coronavirus infection, now suffers from “persistent COVID”although despite this he says he is “in top form” and in “a magnificent state”.

“I have what is called persistent COVID. Everyone who has had COVID has it, fundamentally those who have been through the ICU. I haven’t lost my sense of taste and smell, but my joints hurt.”he assured in an interview in El Hormiguero.

The actor took advantage of the visit to the program to explain again the hard time he went through after being infected. “I spent three or four days at home. I started to get quite sick. I put on the little device that measures the oxygen saturation in the blood. From the beginning it was very low. There is a moment when I get sick. My lady tells me she says she saw me straight gray“, he explained.

“Then we called the SAMUR, they gave me corticosteroids to the beast. I recovered a little and from there they took me directly to the emergency room. They did a plate and I had double bilateral pneumonia in my lungs, which It sounds horrible and it’s basically you can’t breathe.”said the actor.

After that trance, Resines was already admitted to the Intensive Care Unit: “The oxygen in the cylinder did not give me enough to breathe. They put me in the ICU. They put a tremendous bug on you, which is like an Allien bug on your face and neither It worked. And after four or five days they put me in a tube. But I didn’t know anything about it. There is a part of six days that I do not remember anything“. The actor was discharged on February 12.
