The Basque production “Unicorn Wars” will compete in the largest animation festival in the world

The film Unicorn Wars, by director Alberto Vázquez and the Basque production company UniKo, will compete in the official section of the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, the biggest animation festival in the world. The event will take place from June 13 to 18 and this will be its 46th edition.

The film tells of the battle to the death between two teddy bears who are fanatical about religion and some environmentalist unicorns. This apocalyptic story with an anti-war message mixes the war genre with humor and fantasy.

The Basque production will compete with the following feature films in the official section:
