The call to participate in the 2022 edition of the program kimuakorganized by the Basque Government through Etxepare Euskal Institutua, and managed by the Zineuskadi association, will remain open until the next day 25. Kimuak has the support of the Basque Film Library for the dissemination of short films.
The works selected in this process will be collected under the name “Kimuak” and will be sent to the main film festivals, institutions and international audiovisual events.
Those authors who wish to attend the call must submit works whose duration does not exceed 30 minutes. Each participant may submit more than one work, as long as they have been completed as of June 1, 2021.
Open to all Euskal Herria
In this edition, as a novelty, Short films from the Autonomous Community of Navarra and the Community of Agglomeration of the Basque Country will be accepted (Lapurdi, Baja Navarra and Zuberoa), as long as they are in Basque. Short films from Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa may be in any language.
