Bob Saget was confusedly left out of the segment In Memoriam at the 2022 Oscars at this Sunday’s ceremony, sparking outrage from fans.
Own Saget had been an Oscar winner in 1977, when he won a student Academy Award for his black-and-white documentary Through Adam’s eyes.

Twitter was quick to point out the Academy’s blatant omission in its special segment to honor those who missed out last year.. “Riot because Bob Saget wasn’t at the In Memoriam portion of the #Oscars,” noted one fan. “No, but seriously, why wasn’t Bob Saget at the memorial?” added another. “Cancel the #oscars for not mentioning Bob Saget in the Memoriam,” chimed in another.
The star and comedian of full-house was found dead in a room at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes hotel in South Orlando, Florida on January 9. She was 65 years old.

The segment mentioned the legendary actor Sidney Poitierthe first black winner of the Oscar for best actor, who died in January at the age of 94, breaking the hearts of many who were inspired by his successful 71-year career in classic Hollywood films, such as A Raisin in the Sun, Guess who’s coming to dinner Y Uptown Saturday Night.
