From the beginning it was the intention of the comedians Francisco Pinoargotti, David Reinoso and Oswaldo Segura undertake a tour of the important cities of the country with his comedy induciblewhich premiered on October 1 at the Teatro Centro de Arte.
“We were going to start the tour in January and February, but thanks to the omicron we had to suspend everything”, says Pinoargotti, adding that they had 24 performances in Quito in March and April, which were also postponed.
In the current scenario, the beloved Guayaquil comedians have now seen fit to take up the initiative and travel through Ecuador with his “humor that does not expire”. In fact, the play, which stages their experiences with the performances that have made them famous for almost three decades, lands this Wednesday, March 30, at Machala at the Hotel Oro Verde in that city.
Then they will seize the Sanchez Aguilar Theater, in Samborondón, on Thursday, March 31. The work will be in that artistic venue, in addition to the following three Thursdays in April.
As of April 1, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, the assembly also moves to Quito, with twelve dates available, in the Scala Theater. They will then go to Ambato and possibly Cuenca.
When asked how they expect to be welcomed in other regions, Oswaldo speaks: “People have this concept that Guayaquil is one world and Quito is another. For me it is the same because of the number of things that both David and Francisco and I have done independently. We have worked for so many years throughout the country and abroad. The public understands us because we speak the language of the same social problems and their stories”.
‘Incaducables’, abroad
“The intention of inducible in the month of August and September it is also to do a tour in the United States and Europe”, reveals the also television presenter. In effect, Francisco was in New York when he connected in an interview with the rest of his companions for this newspaper. “It is a long tour that goes to the Ecuadorian colony and can last two to three weeks.”
The plot of Show follows the three comic actors doing a casting for him remake of the same productions that brought them to fame, respectively: Good boys, neither live nor live Y My lovely little ones. The conflict arises when, surprisingly, the three are rejected because they are considered not to measure up. Just like what happened to Chaplin when he participated in a contest of imitators of himself and came in second place.
Other scenic moments follow, where the actors reflect and joke about the situations they have faced since their careers and how humor has evolved with the new generations.
It is not that it is ‘written in stone’, but it can happen that the performers break the fourth wall and interact with the public, outside the script. “A person was recording a scene, when it is forbidden to record, and Francisco, as a father, caught his attention, a funny situation was generated with which the public had a lot of fun,” recalls Segura. Everything is part of a humor that has permeated the memory of our entertainment and clearly refuses to lose validity.
