There is probably no person in Poland who would not know who Katarzyna Figura is and have not seen at least one film in which she starred. She is definitely one of the most popular Polish actresses who started her career in the mid-1980s and has been regarded as the ideal of femininity ever since. At the beginning of her career, she was associated with sensual roles, thanks to which the label of a sex bomb stuck to her for years. However, she did not allow herself to be pigeonholed. Playing with the best – Kieślowski, Wajda, Polański … – she showed that she is an outstanding artist. A movie star, privately loving mother

The actress is a mother of three children – 35-year-old son Alexander from her first marriage and 20-year-old daughter Koko Claire and 17-year-old daughter Kashmir Amber from her second marriage. After the birth of her son, the actress decided to have another pregnancy quite late, as the girls were born after Katarzyna Figura’s 40th birthday: Koko, when the actress was 40, and Kashmir, when she was 43.

A few years ago she found herself at a crossroads in life. Then she decided to move out of Warsaw and start a new phase of her life in the Tri-City. My mother-in-law said: this is the best thing you could do in your life. She is really delighted with the way I managed the fate of my immediate family – I’m talking about my mother and daughters. Only the son remained in Warsaw, but he often comes to visit us – said the actress in one of the interviews.
