Rachel Zegler: ‘I’m not invited to the Oscars’

The protagonist of the new version of Love without barriers (West Side Story), Rachel Zegler, was forced to admit that has not been invited to the 94th edition of the Oscarswhich will take place this Sunday, March 27.

For whatever reason, Zegler confirmed that he will watch the Oscars from the sofa at home, despite having done everything possible to get a pass to the gala.

“I’m disappointed too”the young woman wrote on Instagram, thanking fans who expressed their outrage after learning the news.

It all started when a follower left the comment that he “couldn’t wait” to see what would zegler wear on the red carpet. She replied, “I’m not invited, so a leg warmer and a sweater from my boyfriend.” Of course, she promised that she will cheer for the film from her seat and she will be proud of the work that she started three years ago.

Will there be any last minute invitation? “I don’t know, but it looks like it’s not going to happen. I hope some last minute miracle happens and being able to go celebrate in person. But hey, that’s the way it is sometimes…I guess,” she added.

Love without barriers is nominated for best picture, director, cinematography, costume design, production design, and sound. Zegler’s castmate, ArianaDebose, is favorite for the statuette for best supporting actress for her role as Anita. (AND)
