Everyone knows the health benefits of onion – it contains vitamin C and bactericidal substances, thanks to which it helps to strengthen the body’s immunity. It is also a support during infections, e.g. as an ingredient in cough syrup. But onions also have other, more unusual uses. We present the most important of them.

Cut the onion in half and rub it over your feet. Onions are good for the skin

Onions are perfect when we want to get rid of the bad smell of feet and even mycosis. What do you have to do? Cut it over and rub it with the half of the foot. Wash off after 20 – 30 minutes. You can also cut it into slices and put it in socks for 20 minutes. Additionally, the onion will soften the callous epidermis on the heels.

Hands will also benefit from rubbing with onions

A hand rub lightens both the skin and nails. The latter will also get stronger. Interestingly, the juice of this vegetable acts as a hand sanitizer, e.g. in an emergency.

The positive effect of onions on hair and eyebrows

This vegetable also has a great effect on hair and eyebrows, including accelerates their growth. For this you need to make a rub. As? Grate the onion on a grater and collect the pulp on a cheesecloth and squeeze it. Apply the resulting juice to the scalp and massage in with circular movements. Leave it on for half an hour, then wash your head. In turn, rub the onion juice for 5 minutes (preferably with a cotton pad so that the liquid does not irritate the eye). Then let it dry. Then wash it off. Repeat the treatment every day for several weeks.
