Fryderyki 2022. We know who has a chance for awards. Daria Zawia³ow breaks the record

Daria Zawiałow will fight for victory, incl. in the following categories: Artist of the Year, Author of the Year and Album of the Year Pop with the album “Wojny i noce”. He also has a good chance of winning the award in the Song of the Year category, where he is nominated twice: for the single “Za short sen” with Dawid Podsiadło and “I Ciebie also, very”, which she performed as part of the Meskie Granie Orkiestra 2021 project together with Dawid Podsiadło and Vito Bambino. The artist will also apply for awards for the best band / artistic project as a member of the Meskie Granie Orkiestra 2020 project and for the Album of the Year Pop for the Meskie Granie 2020 album. She also received a nomination for the composer of the year in the team with Michał Kush. Who else will compete for the statuettes?

Fryderyki 2022. Girls rule

sanah was awarded with six nominations – for the Artist and Author of the Year and Composer of the Year in the team with Jakub Galiński. In the Pop Album of the Year category, her album “Irenka” was nominated, and in the Song of the Year category – the single “Cologne and Szlugi”. The artist was also nominated as a music video director for this song together with Michał Pańszczyk.

Hania Rani received four nominations, including two in one category: “Music for Film and Theater” and “Inner Symphonies”, a publishing house prepared together with Dobrawa Czocher, will compete for an alternative album statuette. The artist is also nominated in the Composer of the Year and Producer of the Year categories.

Kaśka Sochacka, who made her debut last year, also won four nominations. She was distinguished with a nomination for the Artist and Composer of the Year and for her phonographic debut. Her album “Ciche dni” in the Indie Pop Album of the Year category also has a chance to be awarded a statuette.

The Phonographic Academy appreciated the Meskie Granie project, nominating the Mêskiego Grania 2020 Orchestra in the Artist of the Year and Pop Album of the Year categories (for the Meskie Granie 2020 album), as well as the performers of last year’s edition of the project. MGO 2021 will compete in the Song of the Year and Music Video of the Year categories with the single “I Ciebie also, very”.

Young hip-hop performers received nominations in several categories. OIO, i.e. Otsochodzi, Young Igi and OKI, were among the top five artistic groups / projects of last year, and the nominees in the phonographic debut category of Young Leosia and Szczyl were also honored with the nomination for the Artist and Artist of the Year. Mata – winner of two Fryderyk 2021 awards, was nominated this year in the Artist of the Year category. Sobel was recognized as an author and composer, earning nominations in both categories. It is also worth noting the presence of Magiera and @atutowy among the nominees in the Producer of the Year category.

In jazz music, Ewa Bem returns with two nominations, awarded by the Academy in the Jazz Artist of the Year category and Jazz Album of the Year for the Live album. Two nominations in these categories were also given to Adam Bałdych for the album Poetry, Dorota and Henryk Miśkiewicz for “Our Love” and Marcin Wasilewski for the album “En Attendant”, recorded together with his trio.
