David Guetta produced a video clip that spreads happiness, positivity and joy

David Guetta has produced a music video for a song that aims to spread happiness, positivity and joy around the world on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the iconic Smiley design.

In his new production, Guetta has covered the classic house music anthem SilverScreen by Félix Da House Cat and KITTIN, mixing the melody with a touch of topicality and combining it with Smiley’s message “Take the time to smile.”

This music video is illustrated with Smiley’s iconography of optimism and the urban art manifesto created in different parts of the world by graffiti artist André Saraiva to commemorate the anniversary, Smiley said in a statement on Thursday.

The video also includes the participation of the instagrammer @DudewithSign, who through his sense of humor causes smiles.

The idea behind the video is to give the world a much-needed moment of joy to set an optimistic pace for 2022, according to Smiley.

“Smiley is an iconic symbol for spreading positivity, when I was invited to participate in the 50th anniversary celebrations for ‘Take Time to Smile’, I immediately accepted,” Guetta said in a statement.

“Smiley’s message is about happiness and bringing people together, that has always been my way of thinking and the message I wanted to convey through my music,” he added.

The video for the new version of Silver Screen with Felix Da House Cat and KITTIN captures the positivity.

“The rhythm of the song combined with the artistry of graffiti master André Saraiva and the participation of Dude With Sign results in a video that I hope will make people smile,” Guetta concluded. (AND)
