Jenny Rachel Weiner will write the screenplay from the book and will be produced by Gary Foster, Russ Krasnoff and Kim Hodgert.

She tried to balance the image of the cheerful “girl next door” in, for example, the biographical film “The Doors” directed by Olivier Stone, where she played the extravagant partner of frontman Jim Morrison, and in the melodrama “When a man loves a woman” she portrayed a person addicted to alcohol.
