Many people take laundry neglect. Unfortunately, this is a mistake that can cost you dearly. Washing cannot consist only in throwing dirty clothes into the washing machine drum and running any program with the addition of the first better detergent. Such treatment of clothes has a negative effect on their appearance and significantly shortens their life, which is reflected in the wallet, because they need to be replaced more often. But what to do when our favorite white clothes turn gray despite proper washing? The popular tablets that are present in almost every home medicine cabinet will come to your aid.

Many people cannot imagine their wardrobe without white clothes, but it cannot be denied that it is one of the most difficult colors to maintain. They often turn gray or yellow and are not suitable for anything other than replacement. However, there is a simple trick to avoid this effectively. Aspirin or polopyrin, i.e. simply acetylsalicylic acid, will come to your aid. Dissolved in water, it removes yellowness and graying, as well as unsightly traces of sweat from underarms. It’s a household bleach and stain remover all in one, but it can only be used on white or very light-colored clothes.

It is enough to throw about 4 tablets (preferably crushed to make sure that they dissolve) of acetylsalicylic acid directly into the washing machine drum and put in white or light laundry. For more intense yellowing or stains, you can soak the garment in water with aspirin. To do this, dissolve five lozenges in two liters of hot water and soak selected items of clothing overnight. Finally, wash as usual in the washing machine.
