‘Kotaro lives alone’ anime premiere

Netflix presents the ten episodes of the first season of this japanese animation series based on a manga (comic) written and drawn by the artist Mami Tsumura. Little Kotaro, 4 years old, moves into a residence for people who live alone, made up of one-bedroom units, for people who can’t afford anything better.

This causes the curiosity of his neighbors, an unmotivated cartoonist, a nightclub employee and a character who dresses and speaks like a member of the organized mafia or yakuza. But Kotaro does not accept curiosity or care from anyone, because his goal is to become strong and independent; yes, he appreciates being treated as an equal and having company, without too many questions, such as, why does only one child live? Viewers can imagine it, but they will have to be patient until Kotaro decides to reveal his reasons or they appear alone. (AND)
