Meek, Oh Why? returns to the “Offline” world. New rapper’s CD available now

“Offline” is a dark story, devoid of lights, which longingly evokes memories of the analog world. The cover was designed by Jacek Rudzki (A Friend Graphic), based on exceptional photos by Klaudia Khan. The cassette version of the album was pressed in a limited run of 100 copies and will never be reissued.

Utopian “Offline”, in which Meek disappears on the fourth album, Oh Why?

“On March 18, 2022, I left the Studio Club. A walk through the dark streets of Krakow should help me soothe the emotional interior. I have not seen so many artificial lights for a long time. Maybe even never. My legs get a little tangled, although I drank extremely hard” – begins his story Meek , Oh Why ?, that is MikoÅ‚aj Kubicki. “Thoughts are reflected from the inner walls of my head. The street lamps went out. The shop windows and pubs went out. There was no one in the city.” Kubicki recalls that he was involuntarily walking towards the Vistula until his attention was distracted by the “brown sound of the engine”.

I looked ahead. The car was approaching me, and the moment I realized that I would not avoid confronting it was an absurdly long time. As he finally pulled up very close, I heard an indifferent voice from within him. A voice told me to get in. I did it unopposed. There were two more people in the car, apart from me and the driver. Nobody said anything, and I didn’t feel like asking either. Not exceeding the speed limit, we reached the main entrance to the sleeping area of Hotel Forum. There our paths diverged. The omnipresent wind. My offline utopian

– this is an introduction to the rapper’s fourth album. Earlier, MikoÅ‚aj Kubicki, who knows not only the words, but also plays the trumpet, released the albums “It was nice to know” (2016), “A record of a kind” (2018) and “West” (2019). He officially debuted in 2015 with the mini-album “Księżniczka i buc”. He is a graduate of the Academy of Music in Krakow.
