- Sophia – credited 3,178 times
- Hanna – Has appeared 3,064 times
- Julia – credited 3022 times
- Maja – 2812 girls received them
The following places were taken by: Laura, Oliwia, Alicja, Lena and Pola.
Most frequently given male names for 2021:
- Antoni – credited 3,862 times
- Jan – performed 3,535 times all over Poland
- Alexander – credited 3,353 times
- Francis – appeared 3,252 times
- Jakub – credited 3,236 times
Least popular names in Poland: you will meet these names very rarely

Changes in the regulations give parents more freedom to choose a name
The new act liberalizes the provisions on. Therefore, the clerk should not create a problem when giving a foreign name to our child. However, we do not have full freedom and we cannot be too creative in choosing a name for our child. The basic rules for naming still apply. And among them the three most important:
- You cannot give a child more than two names.
- The chosen name cannot be in a diminutive form (Katarzyna, not Kasia)
- The name cannot be ridiculous or indecent.
