The Azkena Rock Festival in Vitoria-Gasteiz will be held, after two years of forced hiatus, on June 16, 17 and 18 in Mendizabala.
The organization had already announced the presence at the festival of rock heavyweights such as Patti Smith, The Offspring, Emmylou Harris, Social Distortion or Suzi Quatro, and today it has expanded the lineup with the announcement, among others, of The Afghan Whigs; Jerry Cantrell, leader of Alice in Chains, Hiss Golden Messenger, Michael Monroe, Life Of Agony, Mad Sin, Ilegales, Morgan and the Basques Soziedad Alkoholika, Delirium Tremens, Vulk, Joseba Irazoki eta Lagunak and Nukore.
On the negative side, the festival organization has confirmed the fall of the lineup of L7, Reverend Horton Heat, The Marcus King Band and Shooter Jennings.
Day tickets will go on sale next Monday at a price of 45 euros for Thursday, and 65 euros for Friday and Saturday.
