Netflix showed the trailer for “Bridgertons”. Almost like in “Duma and Prejudice”

The main character of the second season of “Bridgertons” is the eldest son of the family, Anthony. It is he who inherited the title, property, and it is the responsibility of him to pass it on, therefore he has to find a “suitable” wife. He got entangled in a triangle, and – as we can see in one of the scenes of the trailer – in the eyes of both women interested in him, he will land in the water.

The Bridgertons are back. The first season was a hit

For those who have not seen the Colin Firth scene in “Pride and Prejudice”, as well as for those who have seen but will be happy to see it again, we show you an excerpt from the BBC series here:

The circumstances in which the two men bathed are different, but from the view of the main lover of Netflix’s production in a soaked white shirt, it can be considered not accidental. Among other things, thanks to swimming in the lake, the role of Colin Firth in “Duma and Prejudice” was so commented on and is today considered a cult one (both the role and the stage, by the way).

The first season of The Bridgertons was a global Netflix hit in 2020. The series, based on Julia Quinn’s best-selling books, won a gigantic fanbase: in the first month of its premiere, it was watched by over 63 million viewers from all over the world.

The writer has published nine volumes describing the adventures of the Bridgerton family. Eight of them concern the love relationships of each of the siblings, while the ninth volume is a summary of the entire series. Netflix has already announced the third and fourth season, it is possible that there will also be more.
