On Thursday, February 24, at 3 a.m. Polish time, Russian troops attacked Ukraine. The soldiers struck both from the ground and from the air. The Ukrainian army is resisting tough, but the situation is changing minute by minute.
Four months after the tragic events at Astroworld, the rapper announced an initiative to provide “real solutions” to make “all concerts and festivals as safe as possible.” The project is called “Project HEAL” or “Project Healing” and is divided into four different segments.
Travis Scott: It’s easy for corporations and government to stay in the shadows
On November 5, 2021, a Travis Scott concert took place as part of the Astroworld festival in Houston. Unfortunately, it had a tragic end. An audience of about 50,000 people gathered on the spot. Already at the beginning of the first song, the crowd was so close that it was impossible to get away from it. People began to capsize and suffocate, and unmanageable chaos erupted. During these events, 10 people were killed and crushed by the crowd to the point that they choked. The victims were between 14 and 27 years old. In addition, 25 people were hospitalized; more than a dozen of them experienced cardiac arrest.
Scott was criticized for not interrupting the concert. The artist emphasized that he was not aware of what was really going on. The concert participants accused the festival staff of unsuccessfully trying to draw their attention to stop the concert. This only happened when an ambulance entered the crowd.
The rapper decided to pay for the funerals of people who died during his concert. In addition, he established cooperation with the BetterHelp platform to enable all victims of the festival and the victims’ families to access free psychological assistance.
As it turns out, over the past few months, Travis Scott has also been working on a larger project to ensure that no similar tragedy occurs in the future. The rapper in the latest publication on social media says – “I want to use my resources to bring about real change. It will be a lifelong mission – for me and my family.” And he explains:
While it is easy for corporations and institutions to stay in the shadows, I consider myself the leader of my community, so I have to take action when needed. Together with my team, I created Project Heal to ensure that real solutions were developed to make mass events as safe as possible.

Giving good and creating opportunities for young people is something I have always done and will continue to do for as long as possible. This program will be a catalyst for real change and I cannot looking forward to showing you the rest of the technology and ideas we’ve been working on lately “- announces the rapper.
