They shoot at the church of former Puerto Rican reggaetonero Héctor “El Father”

Héctor Delgado, better known as “Héctor El Father”, retired from music in 2008 to become pastor of a Christian church.

The Maranatha Church, which is pastored by Héctor Delgado, the former Puerto Rican reggaetonero Héctor “El Father”, was the target of several shots fired by unknown persons at dawn this Thursday, the Police reported.

According to the authorities in a report, the attack was reported at 01:44 in the morning.

Four people were inside the temple located on highway 959 Comunidad Las Dolores in Río Grande, a municipality on the northeast coast of Puerto Rico.

Agents attached to the Fajardo Area Criminal Investigation Corps took charge of the investigation.

Delgado, 42, began to build his famous musical career in the nineties as one of the members of the so-called “old school” of reggaetón, by participating with his then duet partner, Tito “El Bambino”, in productions such as “No Fear 1”, “The Legend” or “DJ Goldy 3 – The Melody”.

Delgado retired from music in 2008 to become pastor of the aforementioned Christian church in Rio Grande.

In 2018 he returned to music with the single “Remember me”, with a more sensitive and human side.

And at the beginning of June of this year, he released his first album in 13 years, “La Hora Cero”, in which, as he explained then in an interview with Efe, he seeks to bring the word of God and that whoever hears it approaches church. (I)
