Jaime del Hierro (@delhierromusic) is a Guayaquil composer and producer who rediscovered his passion for music during the pandemic and decided to start collaborating with young artists on the local independent scene. Álex Eugenio, Cholo, Aire del Golfo and Sergio Vivar are some of the names that make up the long list. On this occasion, Jaime has chosen to expand his horizons by participating with the Venezuelan singer Alberto Lugo Arcas (@elarcas), known as El Arcas, and his compatriot, the renowned José Luis cheo Pardo (@cheopardo), a fundamental piece of the band Los Amigos Invisibles, who was in charge of the production and mixing of the song silly heart.

Available on digital distribution platforms since last Friday, this new single was undoubtedly created for your enjoyment; inevitably evokes dancing, laughter and a rhetoric that addresses heartbreak and love that are usually very intense.

Speaking a little more in depth, the song has a structure attached to the characteristic sound of salsa, which has the percussion of Tomás Fajardo, the trombone of Aarón Cabrera, the saxophone of Javier Torres, the trumpet of Eduardo Martínez, the excellent piano of Edepson González and with cheo Pardo on guitars and basses, two elements that with firm arrangements give him certain nuances of rockwhich join the airs of modern pop generated by the vocal harmonies.

Jaime del Hierro will continue in the international arena, since he soon plans to launch a single along with the Colombian singer-songwriter Chabuco, showing that this 2022 will continue full of new directions.

Artists have no rest, they do not give up and take advantage of the most complicated times to continue in search of giving some color or meaning to life. Those who do not stay in the same place are the ones who should receive the most merit. You must not allow yourself to be that big fish in a small river. You always have to go further. (OR)
