A few days ago, a video called “If you could talk to your family for the last time, what would you tell them?” Appeared on the murphslife profile. The video was taken in a Salvadoran women’s prison. We see a cell with several women in purple. We don’t know what the women were imprisoned for. Several of them took the floor. How did they respond to the journalist’s question?

Elizabeth was the first to stand in front of the camera, who with a trembling voice and tears in her eyes said:

I hope my kids will see this video. Jefferson and Miquel, I ask you straight from my heart if you’ll forgive me. It’s been 17 years, but I’ll be there soon. I love you with all my heart.

The second person standing in front of the camera was Lorena, who, also with tears in her eyes, asked her children for forgiveness. She also admitted that she loves them very much and will be with them again soon.

Another prisoner did not introduce herself, but told her story. “I am in prison for ten and a half years. I would like to thank my mother because you always helped us and you always wanted us to be together. I love you and I miss you.”

Finally, the journalist asked one of the women what she would say to children who would like to join the gang. After a moment’s thought, the woman replied that when they were little, they thought gangs were a game, a game. She also explained that by entering this world, they can lose everything. Finally, she urged them not to just do it.

There were many opinions in the comments that these women are in because it is a consequence of their choices, but someone pointed out something completely different. – “Many people may not understand that such people did not choose this life. Their lives have already been chosen by the environment in which they live,” reads the recording.

It cannot be denied that despite the difficult situation, because being in prison is certainly one of them, most of the prisoners have beautiful make-up, painted nails and styled hair.
