Bad Bunny and Jhay Cortez lead the nominations for the Latin AMAs

Los Angeles (EFE).- Bad Bunny, with ten nominations, and Jhay Cortez, with eight, start as the big favorites at the Latin American Music Awards (abbreviated as Latin AMA’s), which announced the candidates for its seventh edition this Thursday.

They are followed with seven nominations each, J Balvin, Karol G and Rauw Alejandro; while Camilo, Grupo Firme and Kali Uchis achieved six nominations.

The awards ceremony will take place on April 21 from the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. and will be broadcast live on Telemundo.

Bad Bunny, unstoppable

Bad Bunny continues unstoppable after being crowned the most listened to artist of 2021 on the platforms of streaming and attends these Latin music awards with ten nominations, including artist of the year and album of the year for his successful The Last Tour Of The World.

The Puerto Rican will also compete for the awards for Favorite Male Artist, single of the year, collaboration of the year, viral song of the year and three other sections of the urban genre along with another nomination in the tropical genre.

This was Bad Bunny’s first concert in Ecuador in 2017
