the new festival Mondra & Roll will bring punk rock sounds to Arrasate, cradle among others of the mythical RIP and where this style of music has a great presence. The festival, with a vocation for continuity, will take place in the Monterron park for two days, July 8 and 9in two sessions led by respectively The Baboon Show and Cock Sparreron their fiftieth anniversary tour.
On Friday, the lineup will be made up of the Swedes from The Baboon Show, the pioneers of Oi! Cockney Rejects, La Inquisición from Barcelona, La Excavadora from Alava, one of the pleasant surprises on the current Basque music scene and The Capaces.
On Saturday, for their part, the legendary Cock Sparrer will celebrate their 50th anniversary in Arrasate, twice as long as Des-kontrol, who will celebrate their 25th birthday as a band at home, on a night that will also include the historic Peter and the Test Tube Babies, Pearl, Crap and Zero.
The capacity will be 2,500 people, and tickets (38.5 euros) and vouchers (59.5 euros) are already on sale.
