This year’s EHZ festival will be held from July 1 to 3 in Irisarri

This year’s EHZ Euskal Herria Zuzenean festival already has a date. The organization announced this Monday that the 26th edition will be held from July 1 to 3 in the Baja Navarra town of Irisarri. It is the third year that it is celebrated in this municipality.

Through a statement, the organizers have recalled that several commissions are already working on this new edition of EHZ: international artists and artists from Euskal Herria, new participations, shows, talks… As reported, in the coming weeks there will be know all the details.

It should be remembered that last year’s edition was held in a special context, since in order to access the festival grounds, attendees had to present a health certificate. In addition, some 600 volunteers carried out exhaustive controls. In any case, the organization has recalled that the festival was a complete success.

The conditions that must be met this year will be detailed later.

‘EHZ Udaberria’ in Biarritz

But first, the organizers have recalled that the ‘EHZ Udaberria’ initiative in Biarritz has been prepared for March 26. Thus, at 5:00 pm, the documentary ‘Altsasu (that night)’, directed by Amets Arzallus and Marc Parramon, will be screened at the Le Royal cinema. Next, a talk with Arzallus will take place.

Once the talk is over, there will be poteo, and the day will end in the Mizanbu gaztetxe. “There will be more surprises throughout the afternoon,” the organizers have advanced.
