His name is Ángel Aron Ubilla Vázquez, 25, but in the world of social networks he is known as El Chiquitín TV. He was born on the island of San Cristóbal, Galapagos. For approximately four years he has been based in Guayaquil.
Through his account @elchiquitintv on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, Ubilla spreads part of what he does in regards to social help. Calls Ecuadorians to join together to support those who need it most.
“Chiquitín TV was born because many years ago I had a nickname that was Chiquilín. So what we did was change it with the work team that I have now. And be the same representative of the one I had before, “he explains.
“This has been going on for seven years. I had the opportunity to share with many influencers, as is the case with Anthony Swag. In those years we did comedy and after that the idea was born, because people asked me why I had not created my social networks, why I did not create my pages, why I did not make videos, because at that time I only collaborated, I didn’t have my pages, so that’s where the idea of putting Chiquitín TV, because people recognized me as Chiquilín”He adds.
His penchant for social help, according to Ubilla, was born when he was going to make comedy videos in Milagro. He has collaborated with the Jefferson Rescata Shelter, which is dedicated to the rescue of animals, mainly dogs. As well as with a foundation that helps people with drug addiction problems.
“I have helped people with a lack of resources in different parts of Ecuador, Balzar, Guayaquil, Milagro, Durán and more neighboring towns,” he adds.
The objective of founding a family home has been established, where not only people with limited resources can be helped, but also people who have nowhere to spend the night.
Use of social networks
The use of social networks is in a positive way, he says, it serves to inform. “This helps us to get more people to join, to contribute so that people who are going through a situation of need have a more stable resource. Some people have written to me supporting me, saying to continue doing what I do, not to stop supporting the people who need it most, so that motivates ”, he emphasizes.
“It is true that there are many people who comment that these social help videos should not be recorded because this is done from the heart and I do it from the heart, but I also want many more people to join in and we can help …”, adds.
Performance
Although he has been acting empirically and since childhood the taste arose, he considers it important to prepare professionally and for this reason he currently receives classes in this area at an institute in Guayaquil. “At the time there was no opportunity to fulfill this dream, but sometimes things happen for a reason and today there was the opportunity to study this career and I really feel good …”, he says.
Acting is her second career, previously she studied Transportation Planning and Management, Logistics.
