“All hope in me” – this is how the main character of the series called Hercules, who failed the exam for the police school several times, often describes himself. Why can’t a brilliant analyst with all the textbooks on criminology and forensics in his / her dream job be practiced?
This is Kruhlik’s first series to be awarded the Best Directing Debut at the 44th Gdynia Film Festival for “Supernova”. We will see Rafał Maćkowiak and Weronika Książkiewicz in the main roles.
Hercules and Sylwia – an unusual couple in the new Player Original series

Hercules is weak when it comes to emotions. He has limited confidence in everyone but himself. It does not gain from the first knowledge or the second. He often gives the impression of not a very nice guy.
Her name is Sylwia. In the name of Mazur. She is a policewoman who has not been doing very well at work lately. She is at risk of being transferred to the economic department. Her relationship with her boss is “that’s complicated”. Chaos is her middle name. Always on the run. With minimal makeup and no fashionable clothes. He is guided primarily by the heart and intuition. He has a nice approach to people.

What will happen when Hercules gets in her way? Is there any chance that the two will be able to communicate? It will quickly turn out that despite so many differences, Hercules and Sylwia complement each other quite well, and their joint action brings benefits to each of them.
The new series of Player Original is a guarantee of remarkably built characters of the main characters, interesting criminal puzzles and a large dose of a sense of humor.
“Herkules” is another production from Player Original. Own productions, made to order and available exclusively in Player, include screen adaptations of books, such series as “Chyłka” (last year’s most popular Polish series on VOD, in which Magdalena Cielecka gives her face to the heroine created by Remigiusz Mróz) or “Żywioły Saszy – Ogień”, in which Magdalena Boczarska plays the main role. The writer Katarzyna Bonda herself says that she is the dream actress to play Sasza Załuska.
“Hercules”, on the other hand, is a script that is not inspired by literature. The authors of the script for the new production are Karolina Frankowska and Bartosz Janiszewski.

If not “Hercules” then what? The choice is huge
Of course, “Hercules” is not the Player’s only offer for the coming weeks. Fans of “Professional Secret” will surely be pleased that the production returns with the second season. Julia (Magdalena Różczka) frees herself from the toxic ties that tied her for months with her faithless husband and his lover. But freedom comes at a price. The man she has so far defended as the father of her children becomes her enemy. In “Tajemnica professional”, next to Różczka, there are, among others, Cezary Pazura, Piotr Stramowski, Andrzej Zieliński and Anna Dereszowska.
In the case of “Absent”, we had to wait longer for new episodes (the premiere of the first series on Player.pl took place in 2019), but it was worth it. The creators assure that the second series will be even more complex and mysterious. The story will focus on Commissioner Elżbieta Zawada (Danuta Stenka), whose 17-year-old daughter left home 15 years ago and has never returned. Shortly after Kasia Zawada’s 30th birthday, a body is found with traces of her blood on it. There is only one conclusion – the commissioner’s daughter is alive, or at least lived a few years ago. The case is reopened and goes to the desk of Filip Zachara (Piotr Głowacki).
The website will also show the third season of “Control” – a production by and directed by Natasza Parzymies, the first part of which was written as a school etude. The series turned out to be an international hit, and last year it hit the site, where viewers could watch the continuation of the story under the Player Original brand. Now it’s time to continue the story about the feelings of Majka (Ewelina Pankowska) and Natalia (Adrianna Chlebicka). After a long separation, the girls will finally be together, but – as it happens in life and in TV series – it does not mean idyll, because new problems will appear on the horizon.
