Weronika Marczuk appeals for help for refugees from Ukraine
“However… war…! It’s not human, it’s not people. May God protect Ukraine, the people, let God protect all of us – began Marczuk, who comes from Ukraine. – Bombing is everywhere, martial law has already been introduced, tanks are coming in from Belarus, Russia and Crimea … Kharkiv in the photo. Stop, I am begging you, do not destroy life, although do not hurt people – she wrote in an emotional post, appealing to the Russians.
For several weeks now, Marczuk has been reporting the disturbing situation in Ukraine on social media. – Every day you think about Ukraine without ceasing (…). Admiration for those who are there, at the front or not. Everyone lives, my family too, I have lived for 4 years and me. What we tell ourselves every day is ‘it will all be fine’. We know that our greatest strength is peace and faith. This is the most exhausting of the enemy. The certainty that they cannot frighten us or conquer us. And what strengthens us is the fact that everyone does what they do best, remaining calm and having in their heart this beautiful, independent and still fighting for freedom Ukraine. The greatest support is precisely the interest, getting to know, cooperation and the solidarity that Ukrainians receive today from Poland and its citizens – she wrote a few days ago.
Moved by the fate of her countrymen, she was also actively involved in helping people fleeing the country. – Time for concrete help: – 5 families with children are already going to the Polish borders, whom I have to place in the homes of those who are ready to receive at home. Please, don’t worry, the Ukrainians do not expect anything extraordinary. It is important not to waste their savings on hotels. I believe that this is a temporary situation and funds for further aid will be collected. I am asking everyone to write here under the post. I cannot look at private messages, although I try. If anything – write on FB Weronika Marczuk. I will keep you informed about the situation and needs – informed Marczuk, asking for help.
She also made an appeal to stop working with Russian companies. – Please stop working with Russian companies! Instagrammers also support the aggressor’s economy by promoting products. Let us be in solidarity! – she appealed.
