Joanna Lichocka, Elżbieta Kruk and Krzysztof Czabański were “behind”. Juliusz Braun and Robert Kwiatkowski were against. Kamińska was the only candidate for this position, taking part in the competition.

Agnieszka Kamińska is still the president of Polish Radio, although the audience of the Three “fell to almost zero”

Agnieszka Kamińska has been the president of Polish Radio since January 2020. During her presidency, the radio program council – also by the votes of PiS members with its chairman Marek Suski – twice gave a negative opinion on the Program III schedule, approved by the board. Radio Three also lost much of the audience. Last September:

After more directors of Trójka were thrown out, its audience dropped to almost zero. Responsibility for this rests entirely with the radio management.

However, it seems that this opinion did not weigh on the decision of the National Media Council.

Kamińska is the fourth president of PR since the PiS replaced the authorities of the public media in early 2016, replacing Andrzej Rogoyski in the position.

Earlier – in December 2019 – Kamińska was appointed a member of the company’s management board, then she had been the head of Program I of Polish Radio for several months. From March 2018 to January 2019, she was the deputy head of Polish Radio 24.

Under the rule of Agnieszka Kamińska, Program III of the Polish Radio, several dozen journalists and employees associated with the station for many years left the station or were dismissed (e.g. due to the cancellation of the Listing of the Third Program’s Hits in May 2020).
