“Monsters family 2” for children, but also adults will find something for themselves in Helios [REPERTUAR]

The youngest viewers are certainly looking forward to the next animated hit among Friday premieres. Here comes “Monster Family 2” and with it another dose of humor and promised adventures. The peace of the Sielski family is disturbed by the appearance of a specialized Monster Hunter, who kidnaps Baba Yaga during the wedding. In this situation, the Sielski family must unite their strength and become Monster again.

Adult viewers will also find premieres for themselves. In selected cinemas they will be able to watch “My Debt” or “Belfast”. This first film is a Polish story about Sławomir Sikora, who was already the protagonist of Krauze’s “Dług”. Over 20 years later, the way to pardon Sikora is shown by the makers of a new film, the co-writer of which was the protagonist himself. The second production is a very personal film directed by Kenneth Branagh. It shows the life of a boy and his working-class family in the turbulent 1960s in Northern Ireland.

If not premieres then what?

Viewers will also have the opportunity to join the expedition organized by the heroes of the next film – Nathan Drake and Victor “Sully” Sullivan, and the expedition is called “Uncharted”. Perfectly known to all fans of games – this time transferred to the big screen. The astute thief Nathan Drake is recruited by veteran treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan to reclaim a fortune lost by Ferdinand Magellan 500 years ago. What begins as an ordinary robbery turns into an extraordinary race … The film will be shown in selected cinemas in Ukrainian version. It will be available in Warsaw throughout the week, and in cinemas: Bielsko-Biała, Gdańsk Forum, Łódź, Poznań, Szczecin Kupiec, Wrocław Magnolia Park, Wrocław Bielany Wrocławskie – one screening is planned, on Sunday, February 27.

Another story is “The Dog”. Former commando Jason Briggs is given a chance to return to the unit on condition that he looks after Lulu’s military dog ​​and delivers it to her current guardian’s funeral. A few days’ journey along the coast of sunny California is like a walk for Briggs. But during the journey, he will find out for himself what the character of his travel companion has.

The repertoire of the Helios cinema will also include other proposals aimed at viewers who appreciate strong film impressions, such as “Love, sex and pandemic” – the latest production of Patryk Vega and his vision of dating during the lockdown. The second proposal is also a Polish film. The comedy with the meaningful title “8 Things You Don’t Know About Men” tells about male weaknesses, the strength of friendship and love in the release of the heroes of the first part already known to viewers.

The coolest boy in the world and his well-coordinated pack in the movie “Santa’s Treasure” will provide extraordinary adventures for younger viewers. This is the third time you meet these heroes on the big screen, and each part is even more fun – just like in the books from the Santa Claus series. Another film in which viewers will be able to follow the adventures of their beloved heroes is “Sing 2”. Koala Buster Moon and his singing crew will delight the audience with a world-class musical performance and humor to tears.

What about special screenings?

On February 27, as part of the Film Mornings for kids series, they will see a series of videos from the “Masha and the Bear” series. This humorous series, adored by children and adults around the world, about the unruly girl Masha and her good friend Bear, is a guarantee of laughter and fun on a Sunday morning.

On February 25, viewers will have a chance to admire the unique movie “Studio 666”, starring members of the Foo Fighters team. It was filmed in secret during the pandemic, and a diabolical idea was born in the minds of the musicians, as the situation in the world forced them to cancel their jubilee tour. Dave Grohl and the rest of the band decided to record the long-awaited tenth album “Medicine at Midnight” at one of their LA residences and make a full-length film out of it.

On Monday, February 28, the Konesera Cinema series will present two titles in selected multiplexes. The film “Rhinoceros” tells the story of a young man who begins his career as a thief and quickly climbs the criminal hierarchy. Its motto is strength and violence. There is nothing to lose. But what is it really trying to face? The story of a man who carries an inner burden. Will he finally find a chance for redemption? Licorice Pizza is a film in which viewers will feel the atmosphere of America in the 1970s. It promises to be a great musical setting, iconic fashion, the first teenage love of the main characters, and in the background the great world of cinema and Hollywood mega-productions.

On March 3, as part of the Available Culture series, the film “My wonderful life” will be presented – a bittersweet look at the fate of a woman who leads a double life … On the one hand, she is a loving wife and mother, and on the other, romance with a colleague from work. However, everything has an end, and the seemingly perfect plan turns out to have gaps …
