The album “Regnum” was created at a difficult time – when we were forced to cut ourselves off from the world, under the pressure of confronting ourselves. The universe created by Nykiel on the new album is a conscious and mature creation that follows the dark romantic trend and tells its own story. It is a journey through a fantastic dystopia – incomprehensible, but addictive and electrifying.
“Regnum”. The newest album by Natalia Nykiel is a dystopian story
Natalia Nykiel has accustomed us to the fact that each of her subsequent albums is a conceptual release. This time, she went a step further and with the help of artists Łukasz Zabłocki and Zuza Słomińska, she created a multidimensional audiovisual world. After entering it, we will understand that nothing will be as obvious to us as we might think.
The artist released four singles announcing the album. “PRIDE” was just a part of the disturbing universe of the new era. The music video, full of colors and understatements, opened the door to the world in which Nykiel moves on the new album. Another single was the psychedelic “Kingdom”, which Natalia took us to the dark corners of her new work.
The big surprise after the strong electronic singles was the release of the moving ballad “Epoka X” with a post-apocalyptic music video and the moving “Taka jak Ty”. The single promoting the album from today is the only duo on the disc – “List za horiznokrąg”, in which Natalia is accompanied by Piotr Rogucki.
Michał Fox Król was again entirely responsible for the production of the third album. The music was written by Natalia and Fox. The artist is also mostly responsible for the text of the album, one of the lyrics was written by Król.
