The sea, the sunset and the guests were the witnesses of the most important day of the Andean parliamentarian Christina Reyes and the businessman from Quito Patrick Mitz, who got married this Saturday, February 19, in a hotel in Manta.
Radiant, smiling and dressed in red, she was taken by her parents, Xavier Reyes and Cristina Hidalgo, to the boyfriend, who received her with a kiss and background music.
Staring at each other, Reyes said “yes” to who is now her husband. While she listened to the wedding vows, the Guayaquil native was very emotional, tears of happiness escaped her. Then her turn was hers. The act was sealed with a kiss, the placement of the rings and the applause of the guests.
Hand in hand, the newlyweds left where she made the entrance, now Mrs. Reyes de Mitaz. Petals of red roses were carpeted and of different shades were thrown on the couple.
Among the guests was the former Vice President Rosalia Arteaga; the mayor of Manta, Agustín Intriago; Assembly members Coco Abedrabbo and Shirabel Loor; and radio host Karol Noboa. Approximately 250 people were scheduled to attend.

The preparation of the bride’s dress was in charge of the designer Karla González.
Through their stories On Instagram, Reyes posted the videos that his guests shared upon their arrival or on their way to the city of Manabi and the preparations for the big moment.
“Ready to put on makeup for the most inspiring, most fighting bride in the world and in Ecuador,” wrote Jinson Pineda, who did her makeup.

Close to the parliamentary assemblywoman they expressed good wishes. “We wish you the best in the world in this beautiful union, God bless you. You are an amazing woman and you deserved an amazing man.”
Before the wedding, Reyes published a video in which she is seen dressed in a sporty way and doing some dance steps. “Today to give everything Manabí”, she wrote.
