‘El Madrileño’ by C. Tangana led the ranking of best-selling records and vinyl in 2021 in Spain, was nominated for the Grammy Awards and won three Latin Grammys. Now, the artist has decided to reissue this album, which he has renamed ‘El Madrileño (The desktop)’and it has been released today.
‘La sobremesa’ includes three new songs who did not appear in ‘El Madrileño’ as a result of collaborations with different artists. In addition, the cover has been designed by the film director Carlos Saura.
The concept of this relaunch revolves around the desktopa very reunion moment present in the narrative of C. Tangana’s video clips. One of the most obvious and popular examples is the video clip for the song ‘Me maten’, which the artist published in Tiny Desk Concert format.
The three new songs from ‘El Madrileño (La sobremesa)’
The first of the three new songs that appear on ‘El Madrileño (La sobremesa)’ is ‘The blame’. This song is the first collaboration of C. Tangana with the artist Omar Montes and they also participate Cinnamon and David de Novelda.
