Netflix’s acclaimed documentary, “The Tinder Cheater,” tells the story of Simon Leviev, who, claiming to be a wealthy diamond tycoon, seduced women and then cheated for millions of dollars, shocked the public around the world. A similar story was decided by the former spokesman of the Małopolska police, Dariusz Nowak, who now runs the popular YouTube channel “Criminal Patrol”.
He seduced women all over Poland
The retired policeman decided to recall the famous case of the seducer Mirosław C., calling him “the Polish Tinder Cheater”. The man searched for his victims through social networks, and in 2006 he brutally murdered one of the women he had seduced.
– Mrs. Bożena worked at the Social Insurance Institution in Wadowice. (…) She often browsed various escort websites and one day she came across an advertisement from a man. The style of writing, his language, she liked very much, so she just wanted to go out with him – began Nowak.
– He wrote nicely, it also turned out that he spoke nicely, which captivated Mrs. Bożena. (…) He talked about being rich, wealthy, and having a beautiful home. (…). His stories were very colorful and eloquent, which obviously attracted Bożena’s attention. (…) He said that he had plans for Bożena, that these were really serious plans, that he liked her. That he would take her to his home in Bielsko, but also take her to the Dominican Republic. They will travel together, they will use his money together – he continues.
– He pretended to be polite, he promised golden mountains, he said that he had a house near Bielsko that he was renovating. He assured me that he would help Crka with the work in her apartment. She trusted him, but he seemed suspicious to me. I was afraid that he was a thief, but how could I know that he could be a cruel murderer – says 82-year-old Helena S., the victim’s mother, in an interview with Interia.
When her daughter disappeared on December 23, she sent her son to her apartment, who found her sister’s body hidden in a couch. The woman was strangled and her apartment ransacked. – The tower has disappeared from the apartment, about 25,000 zlotys have disappeared, other small things have also disappeared, such as a mobile phone, and even the thief and the killer took three dolls that Bożena had – lists Nowak.
The killer of the 53-year-old was arrested on December 29, and a policewoman was engaged in his search, who pretended to be interested in his marriage advertisement. It turned out that the man was a recidivist, punished, among others, by for the murder of two people in 1991. After his release in 2005, he committed more crimes, seducing and robbing women all over Poland.
– He was a classic marriage fraud – policemen from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Krakow said then about Mirosław C. who robbed and used at least 10 women. He was sentenced to life imprisonment by a court sentence.
