Not only Tom Holland

Another premiere title on the screens of Helios cinemas will also bring a lot of emotions. “Pies” tells the story of two former soldiers of the elite Rangers, who against their will set off on a journey of a lifetime. One of them is the title dog – Lulu, who gives her travel companion a hard time. By the time they reach their destination, they will drive themselves crazy, miraculously avoid an accident, bend some laws, but also learn from themselves that sometimes in life you have to let your guard down to find happiness. In the role of the second soldier of Channing Tatum.

The third interesting premiere, which will be shown in selected cinemas of the network, is the new film by Pedro Alodovar. For her role in Parallel Mothers, Penélope Cruz has already been nominated for an Oscar, which she may turn into a statuette in March. The composer Alberto Iglesias was also nominated for the award. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which awards the Golden Globes, recognized that the story of two women who become mothers on the same day is the best foreign film.

The heroes of the next film will also be linked by a coincidence, and the film “Marry Me” can be a proof that nothing in life happens without a reason. Two musical superstars Kat Valdez and Bastian (played by Jennifer Lopez and Maluma) decide to get married in front of the audience of one of their concerts. However, Kat finds out a moment before the wedding about Bastian’s infidelity and instead decides to marry a stranger from the crowd. A crazy impulse turns into an unexpected romance – the only question is whether two people from completely different worlds can bridge the gap between them and create a place where they both belong?

For fans of Polish cinema, Helios has three different films to offer in its repertoire. The first is “Love is Close” – a classic of the genre, where the two main characters have known each other since childhood, and they are looking for love not where they should. The second film is a film by Patryk Vega, which in “Love, Sex and Pandemic” presents a pugnacious female trio: Mucha, Rozenek-Majdan and Zborowska-Wrona. The third Polish production waiting for viewers is “8 Things You Don’t Know About Guys” – a comedy with an eloquent title, and largely about male weaknesses, the power of friendship and love in the release of the heroes of the first part already known to viewers.

The upcoming weekend is a great family time for many to spend with none other than a koala bear named Buster. He will take care of the rest of the fun, because he has nothing but hits on the playlist and the best group of artists in the “Sing 2” animation. Helios has one more offer for the youngest – the next installment of the adventures of the world’s coolest boy, who, together with his pack, must find a treasure, that is, “Santa’s Treasure”. This is the most important adventure in their lives, because the further fate of the pack and Mikołaj’s life depend on its course.

Koneser Cinema in Helios with as many as two films

The Koneser Cinema series has two films to be presented in the coming week. On February 20 it will be “(Not) Happy and Long” – an Italian comedy in which four married couples find out that their vows were invalid because they were given by a person impersonating a priest. Will they agree to say “yes” to each other again, or will they take advantage of this opportunity to break up?

A day later, the viewers will meet with two great actors and embark on a sentimental journey into themselves on the occasion of the movie “C’mon C’mon”. This black and white film is a cure for all the evils and adversities that each of us faces. Beautiful music, long, quiet shots of the cities traversed by the heroes will be able to calm down and soothe anyone who decides to embark on this journey. The director shows the differences between the world of children and adults and in a subtle way points to the problems with everyday communication of people who often hear but do not listen, especially the youngest.

On February 24, as part of the Available Culture series, the film “Oblivion” will be presented – a Greek candidate for an Oscar, also shown at the Venice Festival. A contemporary story supported by absurd humor will take viewers to Greece overwhelmed by the Amnesia epidemic. It will be an extraordinary experience in which you will be able to feel what the main character has: being forgotten and forgetting who you are at the same time. However, there will be a chance for a new life and a new identity …
