Cynthia Viteri, mayor of Guayaquil, sealed her love with Juan Carlos Váscones in style. She had a private ceremony with her closest circle, but on a special date not only for her, but for all those present. This Monday, February 14, on Valentine’s Day, the mayor swore eternal love with her current partner.

Little by little, various details of the link have been revealed, which took place in Las Valentinas, on the way to Data, in General Villamil, Playas, in an entertainment where several of her fellow political party also accompanied her on this special day.

The menu for the 300 guests who attended the marriage was in charge of the Hilton Colón hotel, directed by its executive chef Miguel Ponce. There was a bakery station, with corn bread, seed bread, white bread, tiles, grissini varied and sourdough.

There was also a cold table, with pangora claw minimartinis with Mediterranean salpicon, white fish ceviche pitahayas and Jipijapa style avocado. nikkituna tataki, mirasol chili, avocado and currant dressing, pears in Chardonnay wine with saffron and crumble of blue cheese, spheres of creamy cheese with praline and caramel au beurre saleselection of cheeses, hams and artisan sausages accompanied by chutneyscompotes, truffle honey and assorted nuts.

The catering for the celebration also offered, as cold options, burrata with carpaccio of fresh tomatoes, basil pesto and toasted pistachio, lima bean hummus with paprika, olive and pita chips, Lima shrimp causitas in huancaína sauce and amaranth pop, tabbouleh of quinoa with cherries, cucumber and fresh parsley, as well as a selection of grilled vegetables, with balsamic honey and grana padano.

At the hot cook station, beef tenderloin was served in a sauce of its own roast and black pepper served rodizio style, porchetta pork stuffed with roasted fennel and artisanal sausage, mixed green leaves with port apple, blue cheese and salty hazelnut praline.

Among the other alternatives for the wedding there were also roasted potato and saffron gnocchi with a creamy sauce of shiitakePeking style duck ravioli in mint butter and vermouth and orange reduction, Risotto citrus margarita, tequila and tagine and Catalan seafood fideuá served with citrus aioli.
